Thrifty Skirt

I found a skirt at Old Navy that was originally about $25, marked down 75%, which made it about $6.  I tried it on and loved it.  There were two problems though.  The zipper was broken, and it was the only one left.  Also, it was a tad bit too short for me.  Then, all of a sudden, I got a bright idea.  Duh!  I could fix the zipper!  So, I bought it, and they gave me and extra 50% off because the zipper was broken.  The cashier told me there was no way I could return it.  No problem.  For $3 I can fix it!

I bought a new zipper and some eyelet lace to add to the bottom.

It was a really quick fix, and I've already worn it.  I like wearing a pink shirt with it, so I can wear my favorite pink polka dot shoes.  I also wore my pink rolled rose bracelet with it.

Check out my party page to see where I am linking up this week!

Oh, its super cute! I love what you did with that ruffle. I love Old Navy....I have a black skirt that I picked up for $2 several years ago. I still have it and still wear it weekly. I feel like I need an Old Navy fix now.
