Girl's Camp Paper Dolls

Here is something else I made for girl's camp.  I thought it would be fun to have paper dolls with armor since it went really well with our theme.  I discussed the theme in a previous post here.  My original plan was to make my own design using photoshop and my silhouette.  For anyone who has tried that, you know it takes forever!  Thankfully, my wonderful mom has the Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge, and it had all the pieces I was looking for!  Yay!  So, I cut and cut, making 25 sets.  I am so happy with how it turned out.  The armor, shield and sword are all cut out of shimmery paper, so it looked pretty.  Here's a look at all the pieces layed out:

I decided to make some with brown hair and some with blond, and then of course I had to add a little bling to make them extra pretty!  We gave the girls the hair and body on the first day.  On the second day, they got the armor, and on the third day they got the shield and sword.

Cute idea! Paper dolls are so fun, no matter what age you are. Stopping by from What I made Wednesday.

Great mixture of black, white and blue. I really impressed to watch your work. I just stumbled onto your beautiful blog, through "Other Peoples art work" blog. Your arrangement is perfect and looks beautiful.
