Easter was my sister's birthday, and here is the shirt I made for her. I bought a Downeast wonder tee and embellished it with a sheet, tulle, ribbon, and beads. I have been dying to share it since last monday!
Sorry the pictures are kind of dark...I took them at night! :)

I bought this plain t-shirt at Walmart. I cut the chick out of felt, ironed on interfacing to the inside of the shirt, then machine-sewed on the felt. I finished up sewing on the "Peep" and feet with embroidery floss. I love it! It was really easy to make and went really fast!

I cut the outside fabric and lining into the following sizes: 1-8x8, 4-5x8, 2-1x12, and the bunny ear shape.
Then, I cut out interfacing to fit each of the outside pieces (except for the 1x12 size) and ironed them on.
I also cut out batting and sewed it to the sides and bottom.
I sewed all the sides together.
Please ignore the gross ironing board cover...:). Here are the ears. I folded them over to add some dimension.
Here's the almost-finished basket.
To make the tail, I wrapped yarn around one of Isaac's blocks. I wrapped it around 200 times and then tied a string around the loops. I cut the loops in half and trimmed them all to one size.

- White Wire Hangers
- Floral Wire
- Hot Glue & Glue Gun
- Round Drawer Knob
- Pearl Beads
- Variety of Flowers
- "Once Upon A Springtime" Paper from Graphic 45
- Exacto Knife/Box Cutter
- 1/8" Hole Punch (or a Crop-a-dile by We R Memory Keepers works great!)
- Glue (I used Tacky)
- Mod Podge
Glue drawer knob to top. I used a wood on and a fancy metal one, so I drilled a hole in the wood piece for the metal one to fit through the top.
